What are the best brands for pantyhose?|||I tried Donna Karan many years ago, but I'm not sure exactly which style it was. It was possibly The Nudes in sheer to waist, but I don't really remember. I wasn't too impressed because they were very frail for the price, though it may have been that I just happened to buy a bad pair. In any case, I haven't bought DK again. Per Nicole's recommendation, I may have to try DK Sheer Satin if I can find it in non-control top. :-)
The "best" brand really depends on what you are looking for because there are certain attributes which mutually exclude each other. For example, if you want support pantyhose, that will eliminate virtually all ultra sheer styles. In order to narrow down your choices, you'll have to consider what attributes you value the most.
Since you inquired about DK, I'm assuming you're not shy about spending money in DK's price range. Some alternatives you might consider are Cecilia de Rafael, Falke, and Philippe Matignon (but note that Falke can get expensive in their upper tiers). Falke and Philippe have very good, even coverage throughout their product lines. Falke and Cecilia make very good ultra sheer styles as well as glossy styles. All three offer support hose in one form or another (though I don't wear support hose, so I can't give you an opinion). For cheaper, everyday wear, Hanes Silk Reflections are a good compromise between coverage, durability, and price.
If price is no object, you might consider Wolford. They don't just make your legs look good, they make your legs beautiful. For a silky, satin finish, I recommend their Satin Touch; for a very light feel and coverage, I recommend Logic; for a matte finish, medium coverage, and the ultimate in comfort, I recommend Fatal 15 and Fatal Lace.|||i have not tried donna karen hosiery but i have tried sheer energy by leggs I wear them daily and no nonsense is my second preferred brand. sheer energy have some support to them and actually look great|||I wear Donna Karan all the time but the Sheer Satin line...have not tried the Just Sheer ones. I do really like the Sheer Satin ones though. Look great...a bit more shine than L'eggs Sheer Energy but more sheer.
